DAY 1: Arrival in Casablanca

We will meet you upon your arrival in Casablanca, and you will be taken directly to your hotel where we will leave you to relax and settle in.

DAY 2: Casablanca Sightseeing

Your Moroccan experience will start with in the morning, with the unique Hassan II Mosque, which features the world’s tallest minaret and some of the finest work that Islamic craftsmen have produced. There we will learn how historically important Casablanca has been for Morocco over the millennia.

Then, an educational visit into the habous quarter, with its traditional markets, its relaxed atmosphere, and its French and Moroccan architecture, the Habous Quarter is one of the most beautiful corners of Casablanca. It offers welcoming cafes and small shops selling Moroccan products, with must-see sites such as the Royal Palace nearby.

After lunch, you will discover the beautiful corniche coast, the maritime promenade of Casablanca.

DAY 3: Casablanca → Tanger

After breakfast, we will leave Casablanca for Tangier, you will arrive just for lunchtime.

The visit will start after lunch and begins with the grand Socco to stroll gently through the medina and the kasbah, with its museums and its magnificent terraces overlooking the Mediterranean sea.

DAY 4: Tangier → Chefchaouen

After breakfast you will also discover the Tangier American legation museum and the cap spartel treasure, and the and the Caves of Hercules!

After lunch we will leave Tangier to Chefchaouen, once arrived you will have a tour of this striking blue-rinsed town, truly one of Morocco’s must-see places and a hidden gem, tucked away in the mountains. You will walk through the local markets where you will see the unique offerings of the Moroccan highlands.

DAY 5: Chefchaouen → Fes

Free time in the morning to discover by yourself the blue city, and to chill and enjoy this unique city.

If your physical ability allows, you might choose to go for an amazing (around 4H) trekking trip to Akchour waterfalls. In the afternoon you’ll be able to relax and enjoy the calm atmosphere of the Rif Mountains. 

The departure for fez will be in the afternoon after lunch.

DAY 6: Fes Sightseeing

Your Moroccan experience will start with a full day discovering Fes, the intellectual and spiritual heart of Morocco. Fes features many mosques and madrasas, or theological colleges, including the 9th-century Karaouine University whose architecture is strikingly similar to that of Moorish Spain. We will see the wonderful mosaics and carved woodwork in Madrasa Bou Inania, a group of buildings from the 14th century with an elegant minaret overlooking Talaa Kebira.

We will also wander through the famous medina, one of the largest in the world. Among the twisting streets of the souk there are thousands of craftsmen sitting in their tiny shops, opening right onto the narrow alleyways. Noisy, pungent, hot, and claustrophobic, the medina of Fes is a totally absorbing and unique sensory experience. To cap off our tour of Fes, our guide will take us to the Jewish Quarter (the Mellah), the Royal Palace, and a viewpoint with a panoramic view over the souks of the medina.

DAY 7: Chefchaouen → Rabat

After breakfast, we will drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. 

Once arrived in the imperial city of Rabat we will explore the Mechouar (the ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the majestic Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan tower, and the Kasbah des Oudayas, which overlooks the water and offers fantastic views over the Atlantic Ocean as well as being home to many Moroccan artisan workshops.

DAY 8: Rabat → Marrakech

In the early afternoon we will board our way for a four hour journey to Marrakech. In the evening there will be time to stretch our legs and visit the famous Djemaa el Fna Square, around which Marrakech revolves. The name literally means “Place of Death”, as it was where Sultans would historically display the heads of their enemies. Now, with food stalls, snake charmers, traveling musicians, and acrobats, it has become a place of entertainment for both Moroccans and overseas visitors.

DAY 9: Marrakech Sightseeing

In the morning after breakfast we will set off on a guided tour of Marrakech, known as the “Southern Pearl” of Morocco, which has for centuries been an important stop for traders and travelers. Our tour will take us to the Bahia Palace, and the 16th-century Saadian tomb. You will have some free time to have some lunch and visit the Koutoubia Mosque, whose 77 meter minaret dominates the center of Marrakech, and wander through the winding alleyways of the old medina.

We will continue to the Djemaa el Fna Square where you can try bartering with the locals or have a glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice on one of the many rooftop terraces overlooking the square. After the sun sets you will witness Djemaa el Fna becoming even livelier and overflowing with food vendors. We will spend the night in Marrakech.

DAY 10: Marrakech Sightseeing

In the morning we will visit the famous Majorelle gardens, decorated in indigo blue and housing a small museum of berbere art, and the Yyes Saint Laurent museum.

 As a final treat you may want to pamper yourself at a local hammam, a traditional steam bath and the perfect way to cap off your Moroccan experience. We will spend the night in our hotel in Marrakech.

DAY 10: Marrakech at Leisure → Transfer to the Airport

Today we will make as much use of our time as possible, wandering around the souks of Marrakech and finding souvenirs or gifts for friends before we take you to Marrakech Menara airport with plenty of time to catch your departure flight.

DAY 4: Eljadida → Essaouira

After breakfast you will leave Mazagan to Essaouira, we’ll be cruising along Morocco’s Atlantic coast, with its superb scenery. 

Upon arrival in Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador, savor lunch at an authentic restaurant offering freshly caught seafood with panoramic views of the sea. Explore the city at your own pace, capturing the essence of the Medina, photographing candy-colored fishing boats, and meandering through an ancient Portuguese fortress.

DAY 5: Essaouira sightseeing

Essaouira, a coastal gem, entices with its salty air and the echoing cries of seagulls. Spend the day delving deeper into the Medina’s charm, discovering art galleries, and wandering through stalls offering an array of souvenirs. DAY 6: Essaouira → Taghazout

After breakfast, we will leave Essaouira to discover the city of Agadir, and the beach of Taghazout.  Taghazout awaits with a plethora of fun and memorable activities. This former fishing village is now a modern seaside resort with splendid facilities, where surfing and other water surface sports are the main activities.

Taghazout stands out for its remarkable setting. Its views are just breathtaking. Here, too, the sun shines year round and its seven kilometers long beaches bordered by the High Atlas Mountains.

DAY 7: Agadir sightseeing

In the west of the country, bordered by the waves of the Atlantic, Agadir is one of the pearls of Morocco. Whatever the season, the sun pours its rays and the city enjoys a pleasant climate that the trade winds still soften. Above all, its 10-kilometre-long seafront offers tourists magnificent views of the blue ocean and the opportunity to laze around in the best conditions.

The main seaside resort of the country, the city with 300 days of sunshine per year, is full of activities. At the water’s edge, cafés and restaurants open their doors to you, introduce you to the local gastronomy and submit their specialties to the enlightened judgements of your taste buds!

DAY 8: Agadir → Marrakech

In the morning we will board our way for a three hour journey to Marrakech. We will be there at the lunch time, the perfect timing for discover the souks of Marrakech. 

We will continue with discovering the Djemaa el Fna Square where you can try bartering with the locals or have a glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice on one of the many rooftop terraces overlooking the square. After the sun sets you will witness Djemaa el Fna becoming even livelier and overflowing with food vendors. We will spend the night in Marrakech.

DAY 1: Arrival in Marrakech

We will meet you upon your arrival in Marrakech, and you will be taken directly to your hotel where we will leave you to relax and settle in.

DAY 2: Marrakech → Ouarzazate

Your authentic experience will start with in the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up directly from your accommodation or port of entry before escaping the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. 

You will cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which reaches an altitude of 2,260 meters (7,415 feet) and is the highest mountain pass in North Africa. The road passes through various villages typical of the northern slopes of the Atlas, where corn can be seen ripening in the sun on the packed-earth roofs of the stone houses and snow during winter time.

You will visit the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village classified by UNESCO as one of the world’s cultural treasures. At Ait Benhaddou we will stop for lunch and give you some time to explore the kasbah for yourself.

Once your arrival at Ouarzazate, you will start the visit of the Atlas studio where some of the American films was made, as gladiator movies, the mommies, spy games…

DAY 3: Essaouira → Dades

Our discovery will continue towards the Skoura Oasis, filled with dense palm groves crossed by a network of tracks running between kasbahs, ksours, and farms. We will head towards the Roses Valley and into the Dades Valley on the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs”, passing the fortresses of M’Goun and the countless traditional Berber adobe houses, sometimes barely distinguishable from the rocks themselves, that perch along the riversides. We will spend the night in the Dades Valley.

DAY 4: Dades valley discovery

After enjoying breakfast, we’ll embark on a full-day excursion through the enchanting landscapes of Dades Valley and Roses Valley.

We’ll traverse terraced crops and marvel at the lush greenery of M’Goun Valley. Continuing our journey, we’ll ascend to a pass leading us through a juniper forest into the scenic Valley adorned with numerous Kasbahs.

Next, we’ll explore the heart of the Roses Valley, admiring the burgeoning fields of roses intermingled with cereal crops. These rose gardens serve as the source for producing rose products. Along the way, we’ll visit local villages, explore the town and market, and witness the process of distilling rose oil.

Finally, we’ll return to your hotel in Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night, reflecting on the day’s unforgettable experiences.

DAY 5: Dades valley - Merzouga

After having breakfast and checking out of our hotel, we will drive to Erfoud. The road through the Todra Gorges follows the right bank of the river, which is covered with palm trees and is one of the most beautiful oases in Morocco.

You will then continue farther east into the narrowest and most spectacular section of the gorges, where we will take some time to wander among the towering rock walls of the narrow corridors. Afterwards we will continue straight to the desert village of Merzouga.

Upon reaching the camp, you’ll be shown  your tent and treated to the dinner, followed by traditional music around the campfire.

DAY 6: Merzouga

If you would like to wake up early so that you can watch the spectacle of sunrise, when the color of the sand contrasts beautifully with the play of shadows on the dunes – after which you might want to try your hand at sand-boarding down them. After a refreshing shower and breakfast, we will ride the camels or fun 4X4 off-road drive through the dunes back to the kasbah in Merzouga town, we will be able to relax for a couple hours before taking a 4WD off-road tour around the dunes. 

On the tour we will visit the oasis of Merzouga, the nomadic depository, and Khamlia Village, where we will be able to hear gnawa music from the local people who are descendants of ex-slaves that found their way to Morocco from Senegal via the Salt Route. We will continue to meet desert nomads in their tents and discover their way of life.

In the evening you will witness the breathtaking sunset and capture stunning pictures, then you will enjoy the Moroccan cuisine and enjoy traditional live music, sit down and chat with locals, or enjoy some drumming lessons

DAY 7: Merzouga → Marrakech

In the morning our next destination will be Marrakech, you will leave merzouga by car to reach the airport of Errachidia. From there a plane will help you reach Marrakech in one hour’s flight.

Once your arrival at the airport, the driver will drive you to our hotel for having same relax time. 

The visit will start with the Djemaa el Fna Square where you can try bartering with the locals or have a glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice on one of the many rooftop terraces overlooking the square. After the sun sets you will witness Djemaa el Fna becoming even livelier and overflowing with food vendors. We will spend the night in Marrakech.
